The Vertigo club stands in the middle of old Zurich, a contrast that makes it even more attractive.
Recently renovated, it is now one of the city’s most modern venues, as far as both concept and architecture are concerned.
The setting is inspired by that of the ancient Romans, not so much in the decorations, but in the meaning given to enjoyment and relaxation: at the Vertigo, clients can dine stretched out comfortably on a chaise longue, sharing a meal with another person, listening to music and watching top class shows.
DESCRIPTION

Projections to highlight a spiral structure

Occupying 700 square metres, the interior is furnished in an unusual manner, with a series of beds and seats that rise up in a scenographic spiral round a centre area that also becomes a dance floor. Open from the late afternoon, at the Vertigo it’s possible to relax while sipping an aperitif, stretched out or sitting at one of the tables on the rising sloping ramp; however, on Friday and Saturday from midnight onwards, it becomes a trendy lounge club, with famous DJs and open until the early hours of the morning.
As well as the fluorescent neon tubes running round the false ceilings, the bar counter and the base of the couches, at night the bright white interior of the club is coloured thanks to the effects of the fixtures installed in the large circular panel on the ceiling, the hub of the large helix. The light rig includes three Giotto Spot 400, fitted with special gobos, and two SGM Genio Mobile LED colour changers.

The result

When the music changes, the dance floor transforms: The Giotto Spot 400 project suggestive designs on the surfaces below, combined with the powerful multi-colour effects of the Genio Mobile units. The effects created can be admired looking down from the long spiral balcony: by means of the light, a central zone is created with surreal opalescent atmospheres, standing out and clearly seen from every corner of the venue.
